1 stick butter
1 C. sugar
2 C. flour
1/4 t. salt
1/2 t. baking powder
1 egg, beaten
2 T. brandy
1/2 t. vanilla\
Royal Icing
1 C. powdered sugar
1 egg white
food coloring
Instructions
Cream butter and sugar, sift dry ingred., and add to butter mixture, beat well. Add egg, brandy and vanilla and beat again. Shape into flattened round, refrigerate for 1 hour. Bake at 350 for about 10 min.
