In large bowl, combine flour, 1 3/4 cup chips, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda & salt. Stir in cherries. In small bowl combine milk, oil & egg until well blended. All liquid ingredients to dry ingredients; stir just until moistened. Spoon batter into 12 paper-lined muffin cups; cups will be full. Sprinkle with remaining 1/4 cup chocolate chips. Bake in preheated 375° oven for 18-20 minutes or until golden. Cool for 5 minutes. Serve warm.
