Dissolve sugar in water and milk, add yeast. Cut butter into flour and add yeast mixture. Knead and let rise.
Roll dough out about 1" thick. spread canned poppyseed filling onto dough. Roll up and seal edges. Brush with egg glaze.
(make sure to knead adequately so dough is not too soft)
Bake at 350 for 35 minutes.
